About Me

I am a bilingual Licensed Psychologist and Licensed Specialist in School Psychology in San Antonio, Texas. I graduated from St. Mary’s University here in San Antonio before earning my doctorate in School Psychology from Illinois State University. Through my experience in various settings and states, I have seen the transformative impact of collaborative relationships, partnerships, and teams on the growth of a child. I am devoted to helping children, teens, and young adults rise to their own personal potential by working through the hiccups to become hardy and thriving individuals.

Modern children and adolescent face challenges that didn’t exist in previous generations. Youth are faced with increased rates of depression and anxiety. We are seeing increased rates of technology addiction and the use of social media means that we have to develop social skills for both digital and in person relationships. People have to learned to navigate both real and digital worlds to lead fruitful and healthy lives. This is why I created Bridging Pathways Counseling.

Out of the office, my husband and I have my own parenting journey. We have two daughters who embrace each emotion with a passion and love to tell us about them. We love camping, enjoy dining outdoors, visiting libraries, and observing insects. My husband and I are strengthened by the San Antonio community and truly admire its strong traditional roots and its vision for the future. This is our home.
